Raymond Melanson has won multiple medals and awards at the Violin Society of America’s International Violinmaking Competition as well as at other prestigious competitions nationwide. A master maker for over 30 years, Melanson crafted this cello in 2015. It has a buoyant, robust upper register which carries evenly into a full lower register with depth and roundness.
