The 1921 Heberlein, Jr. violin is based on the Stradivari model.
One of the most prominent families of violin makers in Markneukirchen were the Heberleins, who created a strong international name for themselves. Heinrich Theodore Heberlein (b. 1843, d. 1910) was the most prominent family member and founded the Markneukirchen workshop. The workshop made fine violins from 1863 into the mid 20th century. Masterful precision of workmanship is seen in all their instruments and only the finest of wood was used. This instrument is stunning with a deep red varnish and natural antiquing plus a one piece back to please the eye. The violinist will discover a powerful and brilliant sound in the upper register and a rich and structured sound in the lower register with excellent tonal balance across all strings. This violin would be perfect for the dedicated and discerning violinist.
