GTCYS’ 2008-09 Concerto Competition winners Greta Bauer, violin, and Andy Lesser, cello, will perform. We are very pleased to have found Andy Lesser his Michael Scoggins cello last year. The Young Artist String Competition will take place at 12:00 p.m. on March 15, 2009 at the University of St. Thomas Music Building. The winner of the senior division will receive the Claire Givens Violin Prize of $500. For more information about the Minnesota Sinfonia, visit their website.
