The keen and zealous young violinist who wants to sound terrific and pursue the highest levels of musicianship must play the Salavadore da Durro violin. The violin was made in Germany c.1920 and was imported by B & J (Buegeleisen & Jackson), a musical instrument distributor in New York City until the early 1970’s. Salvadore da Durro is a trade name for B & J’s violins, based on the Stradivari model and made in Markneukirchen, Germany.
You will love the cool appearance of this violin-a red brown over gold varnish with subtle antiquing.
The sound of this awesome ¾ violin will illuminate any space with a projecting and creamy voice. Prepare to be delighted with bell-like resonance, velvet lyricism, lightening response across the strings, and complex tonal color. Your musical future awaits with the Salavadore da Durro!
