The Maker:

Clara Contadini is a Master Maker of Fine String Instruments with Luteria Anema e Corde in Naples, Italy, a workshop established by four master luthiers to handcraft from the finest aged tonewoods violins, violas, cellos, mandolins, and other traditional, classical and modern string instruments. Their unique varnish uses natural pigments, resins and essences which are designed to allow the instruments a warm and intense sound.

Appearance:

The varnish is golden brown over amber with an antiqued and gleaming finish. The two-piece back has a visually stunning and widely spaced flame.

Sound & Feel:

This fine violin crafted by Clara Contadini in 2018 has a rich, resonating, warmly projecting voice that remains open, ringing and clear. The response is quick and crisp producing a clean and ringing tone.  This dynamic violin is suitable for advancing intermediate to advanced players.
