This Manfredo Lippi cello was made in a Beijing workshop to Givens Violins’ rigorous specifications. The wood is well-seasoned, and the craftsmanship is superb. It has a rich, deep tone in the lower register with an instant response. The upper register sings with a grace and ease while projecting clearly. This cello has a gorgeous chocolate brown varnish to complement its sound. The Lippi is a perfect cello for a first full-size or an upgrade for the beginning student.
