The GEWA “Air” cello case was awarded the prestigious “Red-Dot” design prize in 2016 for its quality and functionality. Starting with the exterior of the case, the light-weight thermoplastic shell provides extremely high break-resistance. In addition, there is an aluminum bar down the face of the case for extra reinforcement. Opening this case, one will note the simplified clasp arrangement. There are only four clasps in addition to the combination lock, which make this case very user-friendly. Inside the case, the GEWA “Air” uses a unique cradle system for holding the cello. The cushioning inside is adjustable, creating a perfect fit for each instrument.
