Richelieu fractional violas are designed to provide young players with a deep, resonant, and true viola sound.   The Richelieu luthiers select wood that is acoustically appropriate for a viola and masterfully craft it to have a rich and supported tone across all strings. Sound & Feel:

With wide lower bouts and proportional string lengths for sizes ranging from 11 to 16 inches, V. Richelieu fractional violas have great projection no matter the size and are an ideal instrument for the advancing violist.
