The Artaria quartet was founded in Boston in 1986, and has since gained national acclaim and recognition. Their long and illustrious career has included residencies across the country. Currently, The Artaria quartet resides at Sundin music hall at Hamline University. On this album, they perform Franz Joseph Haydn’s iconic Op.76 Quinten String Quartet in D minor No. 2 paired with Antonin Dvorak’s invigorating Op. 51 Slavonic String Quartet Number 10 in Eb major.
