Richelieu fractional violas are designed to provide young players with a deep, resonant, and true viola sound. We are proud to be the exclusive dealer of these instruments in the Midwest.

Appearance:

The viola is modeled after the viola made by the legendary Brescian School maker, Gasparo Bertolotti da Salò, with the typical f-holes elegantly carved and a wider bouts. It has a medium brown varnish with a lovely two-piece back.

Sound & Feel:

It has a rich, deep, resonant supported tone across all strings.
