The Maker:

Born in 1970 into a family with a long tradition of bow making, Jens Paulus continues the legacy of the Paulus workshop through his dedication to craftsmanship and the preservation of traditional Markneukirchen bow making techniques.

At the age of 16, Jens began his training under his father, Günter Alfred Paulus, and later graduated the examination for the master’s certificate in 1992. He joined his father in 2000, running the workshop together until the later passed away in 2006. Since then, Jens has carried the family business into its fourth generation as the sole successor.
