The shell is a triple-ply structure made with reinforced ABS plastic and closes with a tight seal, both of which protect against extreme weather and temperature changes, with a high-density foam cradling the instrument inside for shock protection. It is ultra-lightweight, at around 4.2lbs, is adjustable to fit most viola sizes, and has a removable storage compartment for accessories.
