For this contemporary violin, maker Marco Jian selected a Stradivari pattern of 1715.

Marco Jian (b. 1983) hails from the Yulan, Guangxi Province.  His enthusiasm and curiosity for stringed instruments led him to become a violin luthier after extensive study with brilliant violin makers in China.    His career has expanded abroad and Jian works with master luthiers worldwide.

Upon drawing the bow across the strings, the player will be rewarded with a stunning, expressive, and powerful sound.  The violin speaks with clarity on each string and the comfortable neck will allow the fingers to dance across the strings.  This well set- up violin is pleasing to the eye as well with its medium light brown varnish and decorative pegs.
