The Makers:
John Wu, a student of renowned luthier Rene A. Morel, was born in China, learned violin making at an early age, and is the founder of Classical Strings, Los Angeles. His accolades include a best violin sound quality prize in the Chinese National Violin Making competition and an award for sound and craftsmanship from the American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers.
Appearance:
This wonderful cello modeled after the Domenico Montegnana “Sleeping Princes” from 1739. Your eyes will be captivated by this gorgeous cello, cloaked in a medium red-orange brown varnish.

This instrument has a warm, broad tone and ability to project effortlessly with bold, powerful, and richly resonant sounds.
