The Maker:

Guy Cole is a luthier, violinist, and founder of the company Avalon Violins with his luthier wife, Julia. Founded in 1995, their company has been providing fine violins, violas, cellos, and basses to musicians around the country. Guy and Julia graduated from the Violin Making School of America in 1985; moving on to work at other violin ships in New York for the following 10 years. Guy Cole is also a member of the prestigious Federation of American Violin and Bow Makers.
