The Makers:

Marilyn Wallin is an award-winning maker who is established in Lincoln, Nebraska. A fifth generation woodworker, Marilyn devotes all of her time to making new instruments modeled on 17th and 18th century Italian masterpieces.

Appearance:

It is elegantly finished with a golden brown over amber varnish, which enhances the medium ascending flamed split back and tightly grained belly.
