Richelieu fractional violas are designed to provide young players with a true viola sound.  The Richelieu luthiers select wood that is acoustically appropriate for a viola and masterfully craft it to have a rich and supported tone across all strings.  We are proud to be the exclusive dealer of these instruments in the Midwest.

Appearance:

Richelieu violas have wide lower bouts and proportional string lengths for sizes ranging from 11 to 16 inches.

Sound & Feel:

This viola has a deep and resonant voice.  Richelieu violas have great projection no matter the size and are an ideal instrument for the advancing violist.
